How to Install and Use BBM on PC – Bluestack and Genymotion

Blackberry announced the release of its messaging service (BBM) for Android and iOS users in back October. Since then Blackberry messenger has witnessed rapid growth of BBM users from Android iOS. Android and iOS users can download BMM from Apps store and Play store, but what if you want to use BBM on PC. Installing BBM on PC takes just few clicks. How to Install and use BBM on PC

Below I have given two methods to download and install BBM on PC. Follow the easiest on for you.’

  • How to Install BBM on PC using Bluestack
  • How to Install BBM on PC using Genymotion.

Method 1: How to Install BBM on PC using Bluestack

Step 1: Download Bluestacks and Install it

Update: Now you can download BBM Apk file directly by clicking on below link

Step 2: Download BBM APK File

After Downloading BBM APK file, extract or Unzip it. Now double  click on  com.bbm.apk file and wait till Bluestacks installs BBM. Next, open Bluestacks and follow step 10.

Note: Since step 2-9 deal with how to download BBM using Bluestacks, so you don’t required to follow them any more.

Step 3: Open Bluestacks

Step 3: Click on App search

Step 4: Type “ BBM” in the search bar

Step 5: Now select BBM or BBM for Android for the search Result

Step 6: Now you should see various results for BBM

Step 7: Click on BBM

Step 8: Click on Install

Step 9: Now BBM will be downlaoded, wait till it completes

Step 10: Open Bluestacks and click on My Apps

Step 11: In My Apps  you’ll find BBM App installed, open it

Step 12: Now if you have a Blackberry ID, click on Sign in

Step 13: If you don’t have a Blackberry ID then click on Create Blackberry ID and follow the instructions.

That’s it! You have successfully installed Blackberry Messenger on your PC using bluestacks. BBM for PC is same as on any other smartphone.

Method 2: How to Install BBM on your PC using Genymotion

Follow below steps to Install BBM on PC using Genymotion.

Step 1: Go to Genymotion and create or sign up for an account

Step 2: Download  Genymotion and install it

Step 3: Open Genemotion Emulator and sign in to Genymotion Cloud account

Step 4: Now click or select the virtual device Galaxy S4 HTC One Xperia Z – 4.2.2 – with Google Apps – API 17 – 1080×1920

Step 5: Now your Virtual Device will start to download

Step 6: After finishing the download, open virtual device

Step 7: Click on Google Play store, search for BBM and download it

Step 8: After downloading, Click on BBM App and Sign in or create new account.

      Follow Below steps

      First Download and Install Bluestacks on your PC or Laptop
      Now download BBM APK file ( link is available in the tutorial )
      After downloading the APK file Extract or Unzip it.
      Now you should see a file named “com.bbm.apk” Double click on it.
      Wait till Bluestacks installs it. Now Open Bluestacks again and click on My apps. Here you will find BBM installed on your PC.

    Blushacks refused to installal on my hp notebook with 1gb ram, will the genymotion install properly? because i’m been told 2gb ram from their website
